The Shenandoah Valley Reading Council (SVRC) covers the counties of Alleghany, Augusta, Bath, Highland, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham, and Shenandoah,
 as well as the cities of Buena Vista, Clifton Forge, Covington, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro.

Since all teachers teach reading throughout the day, we have members from all subject areas.
