The Shenandoah Reading Council seeks to promote literacy in our community by improving the quality of reading instruction through the “Celebrate Literacy Award”. The purpose of this award is to identify and recognize a local individual, agency, or institution that has made significant contributions to literacy.  If you nominate a reading teacher their contribution must be beyond their professional duties.  The deadline is October   Please complete the form and mail it to:
